Verizon to add LG Android, Win Mo phones soon

A new scoop this afternoon has put two important LG smartphone launches on Verizon in May. The LU2300, better known as the Aloha, will be Verizon's first Android phone not made by HTC or Motorola. Like its international counterpart, the Aloha identified by BGR would tout Android 2.1, a 1GHz Snapdragon processor, a 5-megapixel camera and 720p video capture.

Less is known about the Fathom, but it would be a Windows Mobile 6.5 touchscreen and a QWERTY keyboard.

Pricing for either phone is still a mystery, but either is likely to come after pre-orders for the Microsoft Kin start on May 6th. Verizon's edition of the BlackBerry Bold 9650 should ship the same month.
